Max Rowe and Buck Buchanan

JKT Hosts Max Rowe and Buck Buchanan entered into the outdoor industry after meeting at a trade show in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 2003. That fall they purchased professional video equipment, set up a studio and began professionally filming their hunts to air on a local network in Harrisonburg, Virginia. In 2004, the first shows of Blue Ridge Mountain Memories became a local household name. Later that same year they signed their first contract with The Sportsman Channel and in 2005 began airing nationally as Just Kill’n Time.They have since received numerous awards including the Top Outdoor show in the Valley three years running.

Max Rowe resides in Middlebrook, Virginia with his wife Stacey and their two dachshunds, Gigabyte and Mason.Max started hunting in the Alleghany Mountains of Virginia as a youngster.From the age of 9, as each November approached Max would have his gear packed and he would spend weeks in Head Waters, VA at a camp that his Father, Joe and long time family friends Bernie, Dale, Carl and John owned.Running the ridges in the Mountains and chasing Deer and Turkey became a passion that translated into a way of life.

Buck Buchanan resides in Mount Jackson, Virginia with his wonderful wife Pam.Buck grew up with two brothers, Johnny and Ronnie.Their Father, Ralph Jr.-“Butch”, instilled the love of the outdoors to them all.As a young man Buck learned how to fish and to hunt from his Dad.He took his first deer with his Father at the age of 13 and hasn’t looked back.Unfortunately he lost his fishing and hunting mentor at an early age, but God was looking out for him and gave him a bride that has the same enthusiasm to be on a trout stream or in a stand.

Max grew up as an only child, but he has found a brother in Buck!They are continuously picking on each other, but when the truck stops and they hit the ground with their tags in their pockets, guns on their shoulders and the cameras rolling – it’s all business.Both guys have formed a strong partnership that over the years has become family.They believe in shooting the footage AS IT HAPPENS with no excuses.

If you ask them they will tell you they love their job and meeting so many unique people. And they will also tell you that this is one of the hardest jobs they have tried to do.But succeed they did.

Just Kill’n Time is starting its sixth year on the Sportsman Channel and they still air locally on My Valley in Harrisonburg, Virginia.The Crew, as the guys have named themselves, not only consists of Max and Buck but also 9 other camera crews from Virginia to Montana.It takes The Crew to gather the footage, edit it down and get it on the air each year.All of The Crew members have deep ties to the foothills of Virginia.Freddy McGuire, Tim Hoden, Ryan Hewitt, Carrol Bynaker, Mark Aldridge, Larry Graber, Bobby Phillips and the list goes on.
